SAMURAI MAIDEN: character trailers

This December, D3 Publisher will release their latest game on Nintendo Switch: SAMURAI MAIDEN, a “Girls Sword-fighting Action” game developed by SHADE Inc.. And in the weeks leading up to launch, they’re planning to release a series of trailers introducing the main characters of the game.

In this post, you will find all the character trailers shared by D3 Publisher. Naturally, it will be updated as new ones are made available, so keep checking back!

November 24th

• Tsumugi (voiced by Yuki Yomichi)

An ordinary young woman living in the 21st Century. Having been trained in swordsmanship by her grandfather at his dojo since she was a child, she’s no stranger to the sword.

November 17th

• Komimi (voiced by Miyu Tomita)

A master of onmyoji magic and wields a colossal hammer with ease, encasing it in an icy air that sends shivers down her enemies’ spines. Anyone wishing to brush Komimi’s tail must obtain her express permission first.

November 10th

• Hagane (voiced by Sumire Uesaka)

Not only can her right arm extend and contract at will, but it can also emit a high-voltage current. Supportive and nurturing to the women around her, she heaps affection on them while paying no mind to their blushing.

November 3rd

• Iyo (voiced by Miku Ito)

A ninja who serves Nobunaga. Fully equipped with shinobi tools, she is adept with gunpowder, bombs, and flaming kunai. Iyo has a great respect and love for Tsumugi and would give her life in a heartbeat to help her out.

About SAMURAI MAIDEN

A temple in flames. Swirls of black smoke rise high into the sky. The angry shouts of soldiers can be heard all around. Before you stands a bearded old man… Wait, is that Nobunaga Oda?!

A young woman from the 21st century with sharp swordsmanship skills finds herself in Honnō-ji during the Sengoku period! Together with a trio of newfound ninja friends, she races through the Underworld beneath Honnō-ji, confronted by enraged corpses at every turn!

Nothing can stop this all-female powerhouse team, as the young woman turned samurai slashes up enemies while the ninja wipe them out with their fierce ninjutsu! And when things get tough, activate the Devoted Heart technique to have samurai and ninja lock lips to enhance their abilities!
There are so many exhilarating, epic battles to take on!

SAMURAI MAIDEN (Switch) comes out on December 1st in Japan, and December 8th in Europe and North America.
