Pokémon Shuffle

Today, some new content for Pokémon Shuffle went live:

  • some new stages were added to the Nintendo 3DS version of the game
  • an Escalation Battle featuring Volcanion is now available until February 28th. It allows you to get items such as Skill Boosters and Mega Speedups;
  • a Pokémon Safari featuring Sandshrew, Sandslash, Barboach, Whiscash, Zigzagoon, Linoone and Shiny Rayquaza is now available until February 28th;
  • a special stage featuring Pikachu (Smiling) is now available until February 28th
  • a special stage featuring Cobalion is now available until February 21st.

Also, a new Competitive Stage featuring Gardevoir is now live. As usual, you can get various rewards depending on your overall rank:

  • Top 200 players in Europe, Top 1 000 players in Japan = 5 Raise Max Level, 5 Mega Speedup; 1 Gardevoirite;
  • Top 500 players in Europe, Top 2 500 players in Japan = 4 Raise Max Level, 4 Mega Speedup; 1 Gardevoirite;
  • Top 1 000 players in Europe, Top 5 000 players in Japan = 3 Raise Max Level, 3 Mega Speedup; 1 Gardevoirite;

Pokkén Tournament Arcade

On Sunday, during the finale of the Pokkén Tournament tournament at the Game Party Japan 2017, it was announced that the game would be featured once again at the Pokémon World Championships this year. Unfortunately, no other details are available as of writing…

Also, a new update was released today for the Arcade version of the game. It provides various move alterations, along with the usual balance fixes, and more.

There’s also a special Valentine’s Day event going live, with:

  • a new mission panel (the 8th one)
  • a new Support Pokémon set (Magneton and Quagsire)
  • items for your avatar
  • new titles
  • Special Bonus with returning Support Pokémon sets, customisation options for the avatar, and special titles
