Today, the latest Global Mission went live. Here’s all you need to know about it:
Global Mission #5 – Trade Pokémon at the GTS
- Goal: trade 1 000 000 Pokémon
- Takes place from March 6th to March 20th
- Rewards: 2 000 Festival Coins (success) / 1 000 Festival Coins (failure)
- Pokémon Global Link bonus: rewards x2

Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon – Pokémon distribution (Japan)
Yesterday, a new Pokémon distribution for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon went live in Japan. It allow players to get a Serial Code for a Special Pikachu by donating to the Pokémon with You charity campaign. This Special Pikachu comes with Sweet Heart, and knows the following moves: Bestow, Hold Hand, Return, and Play Nice. The distribution runs until April 3rd.

Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon – Special Battle Season 9
Today, the rules for the Special Battle Season 9 were revealed. Here’s all you need to know:
- Runs from March 13th to May 14th
- Games: Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon
- Item restrictions: no Mega Stones, Z-Crystals, Focus Sash, or Eviolite. Also, no two Pokémon can have the same Hold Item
- Battle type: Double Battle, 2 Pokémon selected for the battle
- Pokémon allowed: National Pokédex
- Pokémon restrictions: no more than 1 of the following Pokémon: Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Diancie, Hoopa, Volcanion, Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala, Necrozma, Magearna, and Marshadow
- Pokémon level: 50 (lowered if above that)

Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon – Serial Code
Heads up for players who participated in the Ultra Sinnoh Classic Online Competition (with at least one battle fought): you can now claim your participation prize: 50 Battle Points. To claim your Serial Code, simply log-in to the Pokémon Global Link, and then click here.
Here’s how to claim your Serial Code:
- select Mystery Gift from the main menu
- select Receive Gift
- Get with Code/Password
- follow the prompts to enter your special code
You have until April 30th to claim your Battle Points!

Pokémon GO
Yesterday, the legendary week of Raid Battles came to an end, and it’s Rayquaza who cam out on top! This means that until March 16th, Pokémon that prefer windy weather will hatch more often from Eggs. Also, such Pokémon will also appear more frequently at Raid Battles, and to reward players for their hard work, you can get double XP until March 16th.
Rayquaza will continue to appear in Raid Battles until March 16th, and special boxes containing Premium Raid Passes are available until March 11th.

Today, some returning content for Pokémon Shuffle went live:
- the Ultra Challenge featuring Meloetta Pirouette Forme is back until March 13th;
- the Great Challenge featuring Clefairy (Winking) is also back until March 13th;
- the Great Challenge featuring Alolan Marowak is also back until March 13th;
- the Great Challenge featuring Wobuffet is also back until March 13th;
- the Great Challenge featuring Celebi is also back until March 13th;
- the Great Challenge featuring Regirock is also back until March 13th;
- a new set of Daily Pokémon is now live: Clefairy (Winking), Charmander (Winking), Squirtle (Winking), Bulbasaur (Winking), Jigglypuff (Winking), available until March 13th;
- the One Chance Per Day stage features Tornadus Incarnate Forme until March 13th;
