Pokémon Shuffle
Today, some new content for Pokémon Shuffle went live:
- a special stage featuring Chikorita (Winking) is now available, until January 24th;
- a special stage featuring Tyranitar is now available, also until January 24th;
- a special stage featuring Politoed is now available, but until January 31st;
- a special Escalation Battle featuring Celebi is now available, until January 31st. It gives various items, such as Mega Speedups, Raise Max Level, and more.
Also, a new competitive stage featuring Mega Houndoom went live. As usual, you can get various rewards depending on your overall rank at the end:
- Top 200 players in Europe , Top 1 000 players in Japan = 5 Raise Max Level, 5 Mega Speedup, 1 Houndoominite;
- Top 500 players in Europe, Top 2 500 players in Japan = 4 Raise Max Level, 4 Mega Speedup, 1 Houndoominite;
- Top 1 000 players in Europe, Top 5 000 in Japan = 3 Raise Max Level, 3 Mega Speedup, 1 Houndoominite;

Last week, Niantic announced that 5,000+ additional Starbucks locations in the United States were now PokéStops or Gyms, bringing the total to 12 800 locations.

Last week, the next Pokémon Internal Championships event was announced. The Latin American International Championships will be held from April 21st 2017 to April 23rd, at the WTC Events Center in Sao Paulo (Brazil).
