Pokémon Sun and Moon: first Global Mission now available, more

In Pokémon Sun and Moon, players can take part in Global Missions: special missions available to those who have linked their game to the Pokémon Global Link. They can be accepted at the Festival Plaza, by speaking to the woman at the desk on the right when you enter. Those Global Missions task players with completing certain objectives, in order to get rewards.

And as announced previously, the very first Global Mission in Pokémon Sun and Moon is now live. In this one, players have to capture a total of 100 million Pokémon before December 12th. If the objective is completed, then all players will get a reward (up to 2 000 Festival Coins). If it’s not, then players will get at least 100 Festival Coins as consolation prize.

To update your progress, you need to use Game Sync.

Speaking of Pokémon Sun and Moon, the following moves have been banned temporarily from Battle Spot: Memento, and Parting Shot. It looks like those two are impacted by a glitch, and so will most likely remain unusable until a patch is released. Unfortunately, no further details have been made available.
