Pokémon news (August 10): scan of the new Pokémon; Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon details

New Pokémon

In the latest issue of CoroCoro Magazine (coming out this week), we get some additional details about the mysterious green Pokémon, seen in the teaser trailer for the next Pokémon movie. Unfortunately, the magazine only reveals that it will be featured in the upcoming The Strongest Mega Evolution special for the TV Anime series, which will air this Fall. Zygarde will also make an appearance in that episode.

Also, CoroCoro magazine teases some news about the mysterious new Pokémon, the large shadow from the movie teaser and their relation to the TV anime series in the next issue (coming out on September 15th in Japan, but with the usual leaks a few days before).

Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon

CoroCoro magazine also has some additional details about Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, which comes out in over a month in Japan. First, we learn that Mega Evolutions are able to break down walls in the dungeons. New items are also introduced, called Lapins and Ringle: the ringle is a hold item on which you put a Lapis.

Lapis can only be found within dungeons, and disappear when you leave them. Here’s some examples of Lapis you can get:

– Power-Up: increase the strength of your Pokémon;
– Protect-Up: increase defense;
– Barrage Protect: protects from getting hits multiple times during a turn.

Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon (3DS) comes out on September 17th in Japan, later this year in North America, and early next year in Europe.

Pokémon Shuffle

On Sunday morning, a new passcode for Pokémon Shuffle was revealed: 07080704. It allows you to get a Disruption Delay item, which prevents Pokémon from activating disruptions.

If you live in Australia, you can visit one of the EBGames stores across the country in order to get a Shiny Rayquaza via a serial code. Here’s some details about the Pokémon itself:

– Level 70
