Back in May, Mixi announced that its popular Monster Strike series would be getting both an anime series and a Nintendo 3DS game later this year. And last month, we finally got some details about the former, which will be streamed on YouTube starting October 10th, worldwide (English subtitles will be available).

And this week-end, during the Monster Strike Festival 2015 (Monsuto Festival 2015), Mixi revealed two additional characters and their respective voice actors for the anime series:

– Akira Kagetsuki (voiced by Kengo Kawashini)
– Minami Wakaba (voiced by Juri Kimura)

Here’s an artwork for the various characters:

And last week, we got some minor details about the Nintendo 3DS game: the game will follow more or less the same story as the anime series, with the same characters. You will get to explore 3D fields (which implies that Monster Strike on 3DS is not a mere port of the mobile game), with various quests to take on.

Here’s the scan from Famitsu magazine, last week:

Monster Strike on Nintendo 3DS will once again be featured in Famitsu magazine this week, with additional details and screenshots.
