This week, Monster Hunter XX (Double Cross) was featured in Famitsu magazine, where it got a massive 10-page article detailing the Alchemy Style (one of the two new Hunting Styles introduced in this game), the SP mode, the new style for Prowlers, and much more. If you haven’t already, make sure to check out this post for all the details, but also the second trailer, some footage, and plenty of pictures.
And today, Capcom shared even more screenshots for the game. They showcase the following elements:
- the Alchemy Style, that has you shake an Alchemy barrel in order to create useful items, that gives you and your teammates a decisive advantage during your hunts;
- the SP mode, that gives you and nearby hunters a significant boost during your hunts;
- the new style for Prowlers: Beast, which is more focused on attack than support;
- the Beast state the Beast Prowlers can get into, where the focus is on pulling off combos with finish moves.

Monster Hunter XX (Double Cross) comes out on March 18th in Japan. So far, no western release has been announced, but even if there was, it’s unlikely it would be on Nintendo 3DS…
