During the latest episode of Capcom TV, the two Nintendo 3DS Themes for Monster Hunter XX were showcased with a preview video. Here it is:

Monster Hunter: Real Escape Game

A few weeks ago, Nintendo announced Defenders of the Triforce, a Real Escape Game for the Legend of Zelda series, in collaboration with SCRAP. This wasn’t the first video game-related Real Escape Game, and it certainly will not be the last. In fact, a new one was announced today during the latest episode of Capcom TV, for the Monster Hunter series. Tickets will go on sale in January.

This Real Escape Game will come to several cities across Japan, such as:

  • Tokyo (March 22nd to June 25th)
  • Aichi (April 14th to May 21st)
  • Osaka (April 21st to June 11th)
  • Hokkaido
  • Iwate
  • Miyagi
  • Niigata
  • Gunma
  • Saitama
  • Chiba
  • Kanagawa
  • Nagano
  • Ishikawa
  • Shizuoka
  • Kyoto
  • Hyogo
  • Hiroshima
  • Kagawa
  • Fukuoka
  • Nagasaki

If you’re planning to go on vacation in Japan next year, you should definitely go and check out this Monster Hunter Real Escape Game (obviously, you will most definitely need to be able to speak and read Japanese)! More details can be found (in Japanse) over at the official website.

Monster Hunter: The Real collaboration details

Earlier this month, Capcom shared some details about the latest collaboration with Monster Hunter: The Real, a special event taking place from January 13th to June 25th at Universal Studios Japan, in Osaka. First, we have a visual for the special equipment you will be able to get there (from January 13th to June 25th):

And as mentioned the other day, there will be three phases for additional content distribution:

  • Phase 1 (January 13th to March 17th): special content for Monster Hunter Generations, with items that can be transferred to Monster Hunter XX
  • Phase 2 (March 18th to May 7th): special content for Monster Hunter XX
  • Phase 3 (May 8th to June 25th): special content for Monster Hunter XX

But that’s not all: there will also be some time-attack quests for players to complete. Those who manage to complete them within a specific time limit will get some exclusive Monster Hunter: The Real Badges.

Just like the additional content, those time attack quests will be available in three phases:

  • Phase 1 (January 13th to March 18th)
  • Phase 2 (March 19th to May 7th)
  • Phase 3 (May 8th to June 25th)
