Message from the Director
Yasunori Ichinose is the Director of Monster Hunter X, which was revealed this week-end during the Monster Hunter Tsudoi 2015 event. He left a message for fans on the game’s official website, in which he talks a bit about the game, and what they tried to achieve with it.
First, he explains that the keyword for this game is “personal”. He believes that if something got you excited in the trailer revealed on Sunday, then there’s definitely something for you to look forward to in this game:
– things that may make boys say “Badass!”
– things that may make girls say “So cute!”
– things that may make adults say “Wow, am I awesome, or what?!
– things that may make kids say “Woo! Haha!”
In Monster Hunter X, players will find new monster, a new world, and new actions. According to him, you get to feel the differences just from using one weapon… then a second one, then a third, a fourth, etc..He explains that he has always wanted a game where you could put together a weapon that fits your own taste, and then combine it with a hunting, in order to get some great action as a result.
He promises that more information will be revealed in the near future.
