Monster Hunter Stories: Nintendo 3DS Themes, lots of new screens, more

Monster Hunter Stories comes out in a little over one week in Japan, and it looks like it’s bringing some Nintendo 3DS Themes with it! Today, Capcom announced that the game would indeed get several Nintendo 3DS Themes, which will be released on the same day (on October 8th, instead of the usual Nintendo 3DS Theme Shop update day, which is Wednesday).

Here’s the list:

  • MH Stories: Airuu Dai Shuugo (Capcom): 200 Yen. Features scrolling wallpaper with various Felynes, Nabiru, and the protagonist (top and bottom screen), sound effects, music (「Kazagurumaga Tsukumu Toki ~Hakumu Mura」, the theme of Hakumu Village);

  • MH Stories: Otomon Dai Shuugo (Capcom): 200 Yen. Features scrolling wallpaper with various Otomon (top and bottom screen), sound effects, music (「Eiyuu no Akashi ~Stories Ver.」, the main theme of the game);

  • MH Stories: Main Characters (Capcom): 200 Yen. Features scrolling wallpaper with the main characters (top and bottom screen), sound effects, music (「Kaze no Kizuna」);

But that’s not all… Yesterday, Capcom announced a collaboration with Tsutaya: from October 8th to January 16th, players will be able to get the T Item Pack by visiting one of the 300 participating stores. By connecting to the hotspot there, they will be able to get some items that will prove pretty useful when starting the game, along with a special Tsutaya background for their Rider Card.

Also, Dengeki Online published their review of the game yesterday, providing us with plenty of new screenshots for the game!
