Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse
A few weeks ago, XSEED and WayForward announced that the release of Shantae: Half-Genie Hero was delayed by about 6 weeks. Unfortunately, the retail release of Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse (on Nintendo 3DS) also ended up delayed! It’s actually pretty amusing, as both titles were originally meant to come out on the same day.
The new release date for Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse at retail is now October 18th (at least in North America, the European date is TBC). Naturally, our Upcoming Releases page has already been updated!

Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap
Here’s the first episode of the Dev Diary for Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap, which is coming to Wii U at one point:
SteamWorld Heist
SteamWorld Heist will be released this Friday in Europe (on the same day as the SteamWorld Collection at retail). If you’re planning to get the game via the Nintendo eShop, you should know that you will be able to get 33% off if you already own SteamWorld Dig (Wii U or Nintendo 3DS) or SteamWorld Heist (Nintendo 3DS). Of course, you will need to use the same Nintendo Network ID on both platforms to get the discount.
North America will also get the same discount when SteamWorld Heist launches, next month.
