Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order – GameInformer coverage, 2 new Heroes revealed

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order comes out in a little over 2 months, and there’s still a lot we don’t know about it. Fortunately, it’s about to change: the game is the one featured on the cover of Game Informer in the United States (it’s quite rare for a game on a Nintendo platform to get the cover treatment, especially an exclusive title), and it’s getting a month of exclusive coverage on the magazine’s website.

First, here’s the cover of the June issue of Game Informer:

For their month of exclusive coverage, Game Informer promises “gameplay impressions, hero profiles, and even a comic reading list directly from the minds at Marvel built to showcase the best comics to “peruse ahead of playing the game”.

Here’s the trailer for that coverage:

The first bit of coverage for the game is an article revealing two new playable Heroes:

  • Hawkeye

The bow-and-arrow wielding hero brings a versatile array of ranged attacks to the table. That same flexibility defines Hawkeye’s appearance in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, as he takes out enemies through a variety of precision arrow shots and explosions.

  • Ms. Marvel / Kamala Khan

By stretching and enlarging her body parts, her in-game version fills up some significant screen real estate as she bashes the bad guys with oversized fists and feet.

Here’s artworks for those two new Heroes:

Finally, here’s a couple of screenshots for the game:
