Mario Party: Star Rush – More details for Party Guest, screenshots

During Thursday’s Nintendo 3DS Direct, Nintendo announced Mario Party: Star Rush – Party Guest. It’s a special downloadable app, that allows players to enjoy the full experience with 4 players when using Download Play (only 1 cartridge for everyone). You can also enjoy some mini-games in Single Player, too.

But before you can play those mini-games on your own, you first need to play some rounds in Multiplayer. Here’s some of the mini-games available in Single Player:

  • Tiles and Tribulations (match three)
  • Goomba Gold Rush (blast baddies)
  • Rolling Rumble (be a circus star)
  • Character Museum (check out some famous Mushroom Kingdom faces)

When you play, some data is saved: Party Level, unlocked characters and minigames, and more. Good news: that data can be transferred to the full version of the game. That way, if you want to buy it after playing Mario Party: Star Rush – Party Guest, you will be able to keep playing without losing any progress.

Next, here’s the Japanese boxart for the game (which uses the same artwork as in Europe and North America):

And finally, here’s some additional screenshots for the game:

Mario Party: Star Rush (3DS) and Mario Party: Star Rush – Party Guest (3DS eShop) comes out on October 7th in Europe, October 20th in Japan, and November 4th in North America.
