Maintenance for Splatoon and Mario vs DK: Tipping Stars taking place on Tuesday/Wednesday

This morning, Nintendo announced that online services for Splatoon would be down for maintenance later this week, at the same time as Mario vs Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars. This is in preparation for the incoming Software update for Splatoon (2.1.0), which will be released 10 minutes after the start of the maintenance. We will have a separate post for this update when a proper translation of the changelog is available.

This morning, Nintendo announced that online services for Mario vs Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars would be down for maintenance next week, but outside of the usual weekly maintenance period (Monday evening / Tuesday morning).

Here’s the list of services impacted:

• Wii U: Mario vs Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars (online play and leaderboards)
• Nintendo 3DS: Mario vs Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars (online play and leaderboards)
• Wii U: Splatoon

The maintenance will take place on:

– Europe: September 2nd (2.50AM to 4AM)
– UK: September 2nd (1.50AM to 3AM)
– North America (EDT): September 1st (8.50PM to 10PM)
– North America (PDT): September 1st (5.50PM to 7PM)
– Japan: September 2nd (9.50AM to 11AM)
