Lightwood Games announces Pic-a-Pix Colour for the Wii U / 3DS

It has been a while since we last heard anything from Lightwood Games (other than the regular sales for their games on the Nintendo eShop), but that doesn’t mean they’re done with the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS. Earlier this week, they teased a brand new game for those two consoles via… their interactive holiday card.

That new game is called Pic-a-Pix Colour (Pic-a-Pix Color for North America), and could best be described as “Picross with colour”. According to Lightwood Games, colour “sets this game apart from other Picross games, and adds additional rules so that puzzles require a slightly different mindset to solve”. Sounds promising! The puzzles are designed by Conceptis, and are said to be quite varied.

Unfortunately, that’s all we know about the game, but Lightwood Games promises more details for January (along with some screenshots and a trailer, hopefully!). In the mean time, you can click here to check out their holiday card, and try to solve their puzzle in order to reveal a special image.

Pic-a-Pix Colour / Pic-a-Pix Color (Wii U eShop / 3DS eShop) will be released sometime in 2017 in Europe and North America. It has been added to the Upcoming Releases page!
