Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters – Cyber Arena
Yesterday, Bandai-Namco announced that Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters – Cyber Arena, one of the two Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters coming to the Nintendo 3DS, would be released on September 21st. It will be available for free from the Nintendo eShop, and is apparently meant to be a demo for the first Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters game.
Besides the first few stages from the Story Mode, this “demo” will also feature a VS mode, fusion, and more. Players will be able to get various items by playing every day, which is great news since data can be transferred to Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters.
Next, some characters are introduced:
- Protagonist (male / female): hot-blooded second year student at Hifumigaoka Middle;
- Onmon: their buddy Appmon, based on online games;
- Naoto: childhood friend and rival. Used to be pretty close with the protagonist, but he distanced himself recently.
