Japan Expo: Junichi Masuda (Game Freak) to hold a Master Class on July 7th

Update

Today, it was announced that Junichi Masuda would answer some questions from fans during his Master Class (on July 7th). If you’re interested, you can leave a comment with your question on this Facebook post (before June 12th), and you might get an answer! It looks like the question has to be in French, though (don’t hesitate to ask us for translation in the comments, if you’re interested!).

Today, Nintendo announced a couple of events for the Japan Expo, which will be held from July 7th to July 10th at the Parc des Expositions de Paris-Nord Villepinte. First, we learned that there would be a third live concert for the Squid Sisters: it will be held on July 8th. And now, we just learned that fans of the Pokémon series would also have something to look forward to the Japan Expo.

Nintendo France announced that Junichi Masuda (Director of the Pokémon series, at Game Freak) would be at the Japan Expo this year. He will hold a Master Class on July 7th, about the 20th Anniversary of the Pokémon series.

Unfortunately, that’s all we know for now, and it’s not clear what will be discussed during this Master Class (and if any announcements / reveals will be made).  We also don’t know if Junichi Masuda will also be there for a signing session, or if the Master Class will be streamed live. At the very least, we should get a special video message and/or a recording of the Master Class.
