Today’s Indie news: Lumo headed to the Nintendo Switch, but also…
- Battle Chasers: Nightwar
- Chicken Wiggle
- The Escapists
- Phantom Trigger
- Cave Story+
- Kid Tripp
- Mighty Gunvolt Burst
Yesterday, the developer of Lumo (an isometric platformer) tweeted a picture of his game running on a Nintendo Switch. It looks like we’re getting an announcement pretty soon, but we certainly didn’t wait for it before adding Lumo to our Upcoming Releases page!

The Escapists 2
Today, a brand new trailer for The Escapists 2 was revealed. It shows the U.S.S. Anomaly: a prison for interstellar criminals. It was designed to solve the problem of Earth’s overcrowed prisons, and it’s a petty high-tech prison. And instead of high-tech, we should have written “futuristic”, as this special prison has robot guards (and dogs), jetpacks, space shuttles, and the warden is an AI.
The U.S.S. Anomaly is meant to be the ultimate test of your escaping prowess… not that it really matters anyway, because in space, on one can hear you escape…

Earlier this week, the developers of Wargroove posted the latest devblog post for the game. This one introduces the Biomes, but doesn’t explain what they are exactly. All we know is that they’re meant to have “gameplay implications”, but that’s something the developers will only talk about at a later date!
In the mean time, here’s a few screenshots showcasing some of those biomes. They actually show the exact same map:

Mighty Gunvolt Burst
Yesterday, Inti Creates released an update for Mighty Gunvolt Burst (click here for more details). Unfortunately, it looks like not everything went as planned. Don’t worry if you cannot download the update: Inti Creates is aware of the issue, and working on a fix as we speak.
Also, if you’re from Europe and had trouble downloading Ekoro, getting Error Code 005-6710, try again now: the issue has seemingly been fixed!
