September 8th
Jester (voiced by Takuma Nagatsuka in Japanese) is a mysterious gladiator who hides his face under a jester’s makeup. Perhaps because of his behaviour, always erratic and verging on madness, even people around him are afraid of him. Also known as “The Jester from Hell”.
Likes: seeing the faces of his opponents contorted with fear, the White-Maned Demon.
Jester confounds his enemies with his speed. When he dodges an enemy attack, his skill “Instant Blade” (official English name TBA) activates, and temporarily increases his attack power.
September 8th
Goliath (voiced by Ryuunosuke Watanuki in Japanese) is a massive gladiator known as “The Ox Slayer”. This mountain of a man is 2m50 tall, and boasts overwhelming strength and a body as hard as rock. He’s often cast as the villain in the arena and, despite his skill, he’s not very popular.
Likes: wreaking havoc, eating, smoking meat.
The video below shows the scene where Goliath makes his first appearance. He stands in front of Cai and the others as they prepare to compete in the Heroic Games.
September 7th
Zarcone (voiced by Akihiro Mine in Japanese) is the leader of the “Gaia Brigade”, a band of ruthless bandits without morals. When he heard rumours about the Heroic Games, he made his way to Dagsion with his henchmen. In battle, Zarcone is a rather despicable fellow who always targets the weak first.
Likes: money, looting, beautiful women, drinking parties with friends, tormenting weaker opponents, vegetables.
Zarcone truly shows no mercy to his opponents, even those that are weaker than him. When an enemy’s HP falls below 50%, his skill “Underhanded” (official English name TBA) activates, and increases his attack accuracy.
September 7th
Majide (voiced by Yuuki Onodera in Japanese) is a notorious thug roaming the streets of Dagsion. He’s been a troublemaker since he was a kid, constantly getting into violent fights and consequently getting sent to jail. He’s aiming to win the Heroic Games in order to become the ruler of the city.
Like: alcohol, women, feeling strong, fighting with people who annoy him.
Majide’s strength lies in his stamina and brute strength. When he strikes first, his skill “Fear Nothing” activates, increasing his attack power but at the cost of some of his evasion.
September 4th
Nuzzuo (voiced by Yuu Akiba in Japanese) is a proud warrior of the “Hal Hari Tribe” (official English name TBA), who believes power is everything. Following the chieftain’s disappearance, he’s been leading the tribe as acting chieftain. It appears Nuzzuo reveres the Demon God Balor.
Likes: tradition, pride, great power, communicating with forest spirits.
In battle, Nuzzuo displays combat skills without pair. When he exploits an enemy’s weakness, his skill “Tribal Secret Technique” (official English name TBA) activates and boosts his attack power.

Sofia (voiced by Arisa Kyoto in Japanese) is a priest serving at Solel’s Temple in upper Dagsion. She’s an insatiable glutton who spends all her money on food. She has a gentle disposition, despite growing up surrounded by roughnecks.
Likes: the moment food is served, spreading the teachings of Solel.
In battle, Sofia excels at white magic. She can extend the range of her healing with her “Distant Healing” skill (official English name TBA).
September 3rd
Yang Jie (voiced by Kazuki Kyan in Japanese) is a renagade monk wandering from country to country. He once served at a temple, but became a wanderer over ten years ago and is currently staying in Dagsion. It seems he once traveled as far as the Kingdom of Sai to the east, when he was young.
Likes: sake, old folktales, traveling to distant lands, helping the weak.
In battle, Yang Jie wreaks havoc in enemy ranks with his signature magic, combined with an axe that he swings with his sheer strength. What’s more, his skill “Renegade Monk” (official English name TBA) activates when he defeats an enemy, and fully restores his HP.
September 3rd
Noctula (voiced by Rinko Natsuhi in Japanese) is a female gladiator who prides herself on her well-trained physique. She was born into a tribe of warriors, but after growing tired of rural life and the men in her home village, she set out for Dagsion (the imperial capital), a place she had longed to visit ever since she was a child.
Likes: city life, city people, fistfights, training.
Noctula excels at melee combat, using her gauntlets to take out foes. Her skill “Concentration” (official English name TBA) activates once her attack is over, and temporarily increases her evasion stat.
September 2nd
Alexandra (voiced by Noriko Shibasaki in Japanese) is a lovely pegasus knight who serves at Jura’s Temple in upper Dagsion. She is known among the people as the “Silver Maiden”, and she enjoys great popularity. However, since she comes from a distinguished family, and has been blessed with a privileged upbringing, she is the target of much envy.
Likes: her parents, charming men, caring for her beloved pegasus.
In battle, Alexandra rides her beloved mount, Bucephalus. The pegasus allows her to move across terrain that would otherwise be impassable. Her skill “Silver Maiden” (official English name TBA) boosts her accuracy and evasion the more allies there are in adjacent spaces.
September 2nd
Benditz (voiced by Hironori Kondou) is an elderly, one-eyed knight who loudly proclaims himself the “General”. He once served as a centurion at a temple, but after causing a scandal several years ago, he found himself with nowhere to go. He now makes his living as a mercenary.
Likes: the tactics of the Great Augustus, promising young people, lecturing young people, reading.
In battle, Benditz fights from onboard a battle chariot. Not only can he hit enemies at a distance with his bow, his “Fierce Strike” command (official English name TBA) also allows him to take out whole lines of enemies at once.
