Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave – All the latest details, pictures, and videos

Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is the latest entry in the Fire Emblem series (the first one on Nintendo Switch 2!), and it comes out on September 17th worldwide.

In this post, you will find all the latest details, pictures, videos, and more for the game. It will be updated on a regular basis, with new content added whenever Nintendo and Intelligent Systems share it, so make sure to keep checking back!

September 17th

Anna (voiced by Saori Seto in Japanese) is a priest who serves at Solel’s Temple in upper Dagsion. She helps organize the Heroic Games, and is constantly rushing around Dagsion in order to greet the participants and give details about their next matches.

Likes: gossip, sales, money, bargains, researching trends, collecting curios.

The video below shows Anna issuing an official notice to the Ribeira Winds, the group Cai leads. By the way, the priesthood hierarchy is as follows: High Priest, Priest, Minister, Deacon, Subdeacon, and finally Acolyte. Since Anna is a mere Deacon, it appears she is not a very high-ranking figure.

In battle, Anna rides a giant war elephant. She wreaks havoc on the battlefield with the beast’s overwhelming power, using moves such as “Heavy Charge” (rushes in a straight line, running over any enemy on its path) and “Trunk Attack” (hit enemies over a wide area).

September 16th

Maria (voiced by Mayuko Kazama in Japanese) is an alluring minstrel who travels around the world. One day, she was attacked by a band of bandits, and was then rescued by Leda and her companions (who happened to pass by). After that, she travels with them for a period of time. Maria’s vihuela, Moon White, emits a white glow that offers a striking contrast to Leda’s Obsidian.

The video below shows a scene occuring just after the bandits were diven off. Apparently, Maria came to that place because it holds special significance to her, as a minstrel.

Ahead of launch tomorrow, Nintendo has released the Day One Update (Ver. 1.0.1) for Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave today. Make sure to download it before you start playing!

September 16th

Raksha (voiced by Aiko Okubo in Japanese) is the leader of the mysterious organisation The Order of Mithras, which is affiliated with the Dagsion temples. They hide their true face behind an eerie mask, and hardly anyone knows what the person underneath mask and robe looks like. They enjoy various privileges, and seem to have some influence with the Divine Sovereign, Solel, ruler of the Dagdan Empire.

The video below shows a scene where Raksha is seen speaking just before the Heroic Games. They seem to be up to something, but what do they mean exactly by “remains”…?

The Order of Mithras, the organisation led by Raksha, is so mysterious that even Bonaventure, known as “Saramis’ Fountain of Wisdom”, cannot fully grasp its true nature.

September 15th

As announced during the Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Direct back in August, the Ask the Developer interview for the game went live today. Check out the following post for more details:

September 15th

Peppe (voiced by Tomoya Itou in Japanese) is a young man who speaks using the royal “we”, which gives away his noble upbringing. He was struggling to find his way around Dagsion when he was rescued by Ultand. Since then, Peppe has felt indebted to her.

Likes: spirits, the sun, his hometown, hunting, observing every day life in town.

Peppe also happens to be a master hunter. In battle, whenever a wounded enemy attacks him, his skill “Hunter’s Ambush” (official English name TBA) activates, allowing him to strike first and turn the tables on his opponent.

September 15th

Inyoni (voiced by Natsuki Miwa in Japanese), also known as “Inyoni of the Magic Bow” (official English translation TBA) is a master archer who has been the talk of the town. She has shown great talent for archery since childhood, but recently, her skills have improved so dramatically — almost as if she were completely different person — that her name quickly spread far and wide.

Likes: her family, her hometown, working in the fields, bow maintenance, archery practice.

When Inyoni uses her bow to shoot down enemies, her “Pierce” skill (official English name TBA) activates, and increases her Attack and Crit. stats.

September 14th

Kiroc (voiced by Shunsuke Todo in Japanese) is the former leader of the Black Birds, an infamous band of ruthless pirates. He himself used to be known as “Monstrous Bird” (official English names TBA). Before making his way to Dagsion, he apparently had a run-in with Talimun (manager of the Vandahl Trading company), and he holds a grudge against him.

Likes: plundering everything in sight, piracy, the sea, ships, his crew.

In battle, Kiroc can prove as ruthless as on the seas. When his opponent is suffering from a status effect, his skill “Tyranny” (official English name TBA) activates, and boosts both his Attack and Crit. stats.

September 14th

Nintendo has finally shared the overview trailer for Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave. You can find it in this post alongside some additional footage and a couple of commercials from Japan:

September 14th

Jasmine (voiced by Aiko Ookuba in Japanese) is a female warrior who serves as the leader of a mercenary band called “The Rain of Parma” (official English name TBA). She used to be a noblewoman from the Kingdom of Arao, but began working as a mercenary after her family fell into ruin several years ago.

Likes: memories of her spouse, her fellow mercenaries, lucrative contracts, counting money.

In battle, Jasmine specialises and excels in defense. When she fights on the defensive, her skill “Masterful Counterattack” (official English name TBA) activates, and increases the accuracy of her attacks.

September 11th

Halvin (voiced by Mae Kahara in Japanese) is a young archer who found herself travelling with Anatolia by mere happenstance. Before coming to Dagsion, she was a traveling performer in a circus troupe. She grew up in a very ordinary family at a farm, which is why she doesn’t deal with conflicts very well.

Likes: streets performances, growing vegetables, seeing the smiles on the spectators’ faces, practicing magic tricks.

The video below shows a scene occuring just before a match during the Heroic Games. Halvin appears emotionally unstable because of her nervousness. By the way, when you go and explore the streets of Dagsion, you might find Halvin juggling in front of a crowd!

September 11th

Dadao (voiced by Kappei Yamaguchi in Japanese) is a young man who accompanies Anatolia (also known as “The Mysterious Bride”). He’s a troublemaker, and was something of a problem child back in his hometown. He’s a womanizer who hits on women indiscriminately, but he gets rejected every time.

Likes: women (especially Anatolia), good grub, fighting, looking out after the weak.

In battle, Dadao proves a bold fighter, relying on his impressive strength to pull off powerful moves. His skill, “One-Shot Showdown” (official English name TBA), activates when neither he nor his opponent can launch a follow-up attack, and boosts his attack power.

September 10th

Loretta (voiced by Satsumi Matsuda in Japanese) is a lively young woman who serves at Credna’s Temple. In Japanese, she calls Orchel, a priestess wearing a cat mask, “Priestess-sama”. She’s stubborn, competitive, and… utterly terrified of ghosts.

Likes: reliable persons, sweets, friends, sword training, fishing.

The video below shows a discussion between Loretta and Tobias. While Loretta is fishing by the river, Tobias (the valiant general from Saramis) suddenly shows up, glass of wine in hand…

September 10th

Seteth (voiced by Takehito Koyasu in Japanese) is an eccentric traveler who came to Dagda all the way from the distant land of Fodlan in order to conduct research. He met Orchel, a priestess wearing a cat mask, during his travels, and the two of them have been traveling together ever sine. He has the tendency to meddle in others’ affairs.

Likes: the teachings of Seiros, fishing, his daughter, hardworking people, writing fables, preaching.

The following video shows a conversation between Seteth and Dietrich. Even though the two of them are from Fodlan, it doesn’t look like the two of them are on friendly terms.

September 9th

Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave was once again showcased during the Nintendo Direct today. Check out the following post for a recording of the short segment dedicated to the game, but also one of the Nintendo Treehouse Live segments:

September 9th

Fianna (voiced by Aya Suzuki in Japanese) is a beautiful cleric with a certain air of mystery. She was found unconscious by the riverside, and was rescued by the temples. Currently, she’s a member of the Vandahl Trading company, led by Talimun. She loves spicy food to an unhealthy degree: even a grown man would pass out from the heat.

Likes: poetry collections, spicy food, praying, going to the theatre.

The video below shows a conversation between Fianna and Ludia. For Fianna, Talimun seems to be someone special, and more than just an employer.

September 9th

Ludia (voiced by Azusa Tachibana) is the daughter of a renowned military officer who works for the Vandahl Trading company, led by Talimun. She received a rigorous education from a young age, which explains why she now displays top-notch swordsmanship and general knowledge. Like any young woman her age, she is quite sensitive to matters of the heart.

Likes: writing stories, appreciating art, talking about romance, shopping.

In battle, Ludia is known for her agile swordplay. Thanks to her skill, Hayabusa (official English name TBA), she is more likely to land follow-up attacks when she strikes first.
