Fashion Dreamer – Content Update

  • Adds 13 new patterns
    • 12 patterns are available via gacha.
Changes and Improvements
  • Adds a “Go back one step” function when changing your outfit.
    • In order to make it easier for players to try out different outfits, a “Go back one step” function has been added, allowing users to go back to the previous step by pressing the B button when picking up clothes (Note: you cannot go back more than one step)
  • Adds new gacha items + adjusted the drop rates
    • New gacha items have been added with a total of 12 new patterns. Please note that each cocoon offers a different selection of patterns.
    • The drop rate has been adjusted to make it easier for players to get items of various rarities. For example, it is now easier to get items of rarity 3 and above.
  • Adds new brand mark designs and makes some adjustments to them.
    • 1,822 brand mark designs have been added (116 illustrations, 220 frames, 536 backgrounds, and 950 cut-outs) so that players can express their own style more freely.
    • The order in which the designs are displayed and the variation of brand marks created when selection “Leave it to us” has been increased accordingly.
  • Adds new photo stickers.
    • So that players can enjoy the Photo Egg even more, 162 photo stickers (88 illustrations, 4 silhouettes, 39 stickers, 30 prints, and 1 scribble) have been added. More will be added in the future.
  • Adds new skin tones and make-up options and makes adjustments to them.
    • More parts and colours have been added, allowing you to create your ideal Muse.
      • Hair: 8 new colours
      • Eyebrows: 1 new colour
      • Eyelashes: 1 new colour
      • Beard: 1 new colour
      • Lipstick: 5 new colours
      • Make-up: 2 new types
    • Do note that this changes the numbering and orders or parts and colours.
  • Adds Ruby characters to some text in Japanese
    • Ruby characters have been added to allow younger players to enjoy the game.
  • Bug fix: Lipstick colour ‘Glade Golden Yellow’
    • Fixes an issue causing the lipstick colour ‘Glade Golden Yellow’ to be the same as ‘Golden Yellow’.
      • Muses currently using the ‘Glade Golden Yellow’ lipstick will have their lipstick colour changed due to this update. If you wish to keep using the ‘original’ colour, please select ‘Golden Yellow’.
  •  Known issues
    • Items that cannot currently be created can be obtained as Eve items.
      • This is not a bug, and no fix will be implemented as part of this update. If you have acquired one such items, you can use it normally without any issues.
      • Items in question: Colourful Monster T-Shirt A, Colourful Monster Skirt A, Rainbow Thick-Soled Shoes A
  • Improves stability and fixes minor bugs.

Changes and Improvements
  • Sorting improvements
    • Adds ability to sort items by colour, allowing players to sort items based on 10 different colours
    • Changes default sorting order to “Category” (previously, it was the order in which you acquired each item)
    • Changes the position of the cursor so that it moves back to the top-left hand corner of the screen after using the sorting function
  • Inventory expansion
    • You can now hold onto 6,000 items (previously: 5,000)
  • Adds function to remove all clothing items currently worn.
    • When using LookIt, changing clothes, or setting up a mannequin, you can now press the ZR button to remove all clothing items at once.
  •  Adjusts Muse requests.
    • In order to give players more freedom in the way they choose outfits, Muse requests have been adjusted. From now on, those requests will no longer include confusing things like “neon colours”, “ultra-rare” or “hoodies”, or tough requests that combine atmosphere and mood (for example: cool and cute) or colour + specific item type (for example: an outfit using red sneakers). That way, players will have more freedom in the way they choose to fulfill the Muse’s request.
  • Adds Volume setting to Options
    • You can now adjust the volume of background music and sound effects that play in the game.
  • Hides the ring displayed when shooting with a drone camera.
    • The ring displayed at the feet of your Muse is now hidden when the camera is filming.
  • Fixes a bug occuring during a Muse event under certain conditions.
    • If the event does not occur despite reaching 3 ❤, make sure that you have met the following conditions:
      • some events will not occur if you do not have all the minimum required items to complete the request (for example: you need Type-B items for Type-B Muse events). Therefore, make sure to Like and get items from a wide variety of Muses.
      • Tops, bottoms, and shoes is the minimum required to complete a request.
      • some events will not occur if you’re wearing the default tops and bottoms. Make sure to change to items obtained from other Muses, or My Brand items.
      • some events will not occur when changing clothes (like when you’re trying another Muse’s items). In that case, simply exit the outfit changing screen.
  • Other improvements, adjustments, and fixes
    • The default screen when creating items has been changed to My Muse
    • The zoom function can now be used on the item settings screen of the showroom mannequin
    • The appearance rate of Muses will be further adjusted so that players can encounter a greater variety of Muse types
    • The file size of item thumbnails will be further lowered, making them display faster
    • When editing your Muse, the camera will be adjusted so that your hair can be fully displayed even with long hairstyles
    • The first time you connect to Online Mode, a warning screen will be displayed to inform you that personal information (such as your email address) may be visible to other users
    • Added a warning dialog for streamers on the password entry screen when connecting online for the first time
    • Fixed the design of some background data in the LookBook.
    • Fixed an issue that prevented players from deleting LookIt info when the Muse’s name contained certain symbols (braces { }).

Fashion Dreamer – Ver. 1.2.1

  • Fix an issue where some rewards in the Limited Time Fantasy Fair could be obtained more than once under certain conditions.

  • Fix an issue where the Affinity level displayed for Character Muses in the Muse Notebook could exceed the upper limit.
  • Various adjustments to the Limited Time Fantasy Fair challenges.
  • Give 200 Creative Keys to all players who apply the Ver. 1.2.1 update as an apology for the temporary downtime of the Limited Time Fantasy Fair.

  • adds new events
    • Limitd Time Fairs: each month, you get various tasks. Complete them, and you can get useful rewards such as Creative Keys, E-Points, unique patterns, Muse parts, furniture, and more.
  • adds Lookbook
    • Allows you to register your favourite outfits so you can easily change into your favourite clothes or share them with your followers. You can create your own outfits and poses and name them in the Lookbook. To unlock this feature, talk to a specifc Muse once you’ve reached Gold rank!
  • adds Zoom function when using Lookit or when changing clothes
  • makes the thumbnail display more lightweight
  • changes the filter setting button (now Y instead of +)
  • The filter setting and coordination keys are the same, which could easily cause incorrect operation, so I changed the filter setting key to the + button → and the Y button.
  • slightly speeds up reaction notifications
  • adjusts the appearance rate of Muses to avoid certain Muses showing up too frequently. Adjustements were made so that Muses are refreshed more frequently when moving from one Coccon or Area to the other. This will allow you to meet more different Muses.
  • changes the thumbnail when you receive a notification for a deleted item. Before, when you received such a notification, the thumbnail showed the default item, but now, the thumbnail of the deleted item will be shown instead.

How to download updates for Fashion Dreamer for the Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for Fashion Dreamer, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

  • select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
