Etrian Odyssey V: first trailer

Etrian Odyssey VThis week, Atlus finally revealed Etrian Odyssey V: The End of the Long Myth (Sekaiju no Meikyuu V: Nagaki Shinwa no Hate in Japanese). If you’re interested in details from the game, make sure to check out these posts:

And today, the game was showcased in a livestream on NicoNico. The first trailer was shown, and immediately uploaded on YouTube.

During the livestream, it was revealed that Etrian Odyssey V would be the last numbered entry for the series on Nintendo 3DS (which isn’t all that surprising, since Nintendo’s handheld will get replacement by the end of next year at the very latest). Some details were also given about the artbook from the Collector’s Editions: A4 size, and about 200 pages. It will not be sold separately.

The official recording of the livestream should be available on Atlus’ YouTube channel within the upcoming days.

Etrian Odyssey V (3DS) comes out on August 4th in Japan, and will cost 6 480 Yen (+ taxes).
