SEGA Ages Shinobi

SEGA have revealed the latest SEGA Ages title for the Nintendo Switch: SEGA Ages Shinobi, releasing soon. This one is based on the Arcade version of Shinobi, and includes both the Japanese and western versions.

As usual, the game is getting various extra features, including a Stage Select functionality, but also a Melee Attack button (really handy for players aiming for the Shinobi Bonus, obtained by clearing a stage without using any shuriken). The developers also implemented HD Rumble, various cabinet overlays, and more.

There’s two game modes:

  • Arcade Mode, reproducing the original Arcade version, though you can also activate the rewind feature if you’re having trouble clearing a stage;
  • Ages Mode: a special mode offering an easier experience. You can play in a permanent powered-up stage with beefed up attack power and a life system, not to mention the rewind feature.

Other features includes:

  • online rankings
  • Replay Playback
