Yesterday, Atlus USA uploaded another trailer for Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker, which focuses on the Auctions system. The game is pretty similar to Shin Megami Tensei IV, as you get to fight with demons. But there’s a major difference… in Devil Survivor, you can only get them by two means:
– the Demon Auctions (some sort of eBay platform for demons, which even has its own app!)
Obviously, you can only fuse your demons so many times, so at one point, you’ll need to use those precious Meccas (the virtual money used in the game) to buy yourself new ones.
But before you go spend your money like crazy, you have to pay attention to some important details. Each demon has its own rating: the more stars, the better the stats and skills. Then, you can chose to either send it in battle right away, or use it for Demon Fusion and create a demon even more powerful. Finally, there’s some special auctions for exceptional demons, but competiton from other bidders is really fierce.
