Rhythm Heaven The Best+: some details, screenshots and JP boxart

As announced previously during the Japanese Nintendo Direct in January, Rhythm Heaven: The Best+ isn’t quite a fully original entry in the Rhythm Heaven series. Even though it does have over 100 mini-games, only 30 are entirely original and 70 of them are from previous games. Of course, Nintendo updated them with new visuals and songs, to keep things fresh for fans.

Unlike other rhythm games, controls are really simple and easy to grasp in Rhythm Heaven, and this new game is the same. Players will have to use the A / B buttons or the D-Pad in rhythm with the music, and that’s pretty much it. It makes for very accessible but extremely addictive gameplay! If you prefer using the touch screen, you will be able to do so, but you won’t be able to hold your 3DS like a book.

Finally, some details about multiplayer: Rhythm Heaven – The Best+ has a co-op mode, which can be played with up to 4 players. And obviously, the usual Remixes (which mixes up several mini-games together) are back in this game.

Here’s the Japanese boxart for Rhythm Heaven – The Best+:
