Denpa Ningen no RPG Free!: over 2.7 million downloads

Genius Sonority is a rather small company (much smaller than they used to be a couple of years ago), but their current project seems to be quite successful. Right now, they’re working on Pokémon Shuffle (on Nintendo 3DS and Mobile), but also on Denpa Ningen no RPG! Free (a Free 2 Play version of their Denpa Men series).

Today, Genius Sonority announced that the game had been downloaded over 2.7 million times since launch, back in 2014. As usual, the company didn’t provide any other data (about microtransactions, for example), but the very fact that they’re still releasing new updates, providing new content, and hosting special events almost two years after release is proof that the game is doing pretty well for them.

To celebrate, there will be a special event from April 28th to May 11, allowing players to receive bonus jewels, catch rare Denpa Men, and more. There will also be special events:

• Continous Battle Challenge (April 27th to May 4th): keep fighting as many monsters in a row (up to 30);
• Mother Day’s Gift (May 4th to May 14th): help the Denpa Men children get their Mother Day’s gifts back from the monsters;
• Monster Coliseum (May 4th to May 14th).
