Nintendo Switch
According to a report from Takashi Mochizuki (Bloomberg), Nintendo has raised its target for Nintendo Switch production to about 25 million units for the current Fiscal Year (which ends on March 31st). Back in April, the company already raised production to 22 million units, but it looks like it wasn’t enough. Nintendo’s forecast for the current Fiscal Year is 19 million units sold, which means the company is fully expecting to smash it.
Now, it’s possible Nintendo will adjust output for Q4 (January to March) if demand begins to slow down, but looking at the current sales trends worldwide, this doesn’t seem very likely. Production partners expect at least more than 22 million units to be produced.
