Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom

Yesterday, the developers of Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom shared the latest devblog post for the game, revealing the new hand-drawn design of the lion transformation. As you can see for yourself below, he wears ice equipment, that you will need to go through the scorching hot volcano area. Also, it allows you to deal more damage to fire enemies… and receive less damage from them!

As for the lion transformation itself, it makes Jin much stronger, and allows him to dash fast. There’s a lot of different transformations in this game, and you can switch from one to the other at any time. In fact, it’s not just that you can… you need to do so, in order to progress through the game.

Here’s the new hand-drawn design of the lion:

Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom (Switch – eShop) will be released next year.
