Resident Evil Revelations: Switch version to include Ghostship Panic and Ghouls ‘n Homunculi mini games

A few months ago, Capcom announced they were going to release both Resident Evil Revelations games on Nintendo Switch in November. Naturally, they come with all DLC (and, in the case of Resident Evil Revelations 2, all the episodes) available from the getgo. But it looks like there’s also going a couple of neat extras…

Earlier this week, Capcom announced that Resident Evil Revelations would include a mini game called Ghostship Panic, available from the initial loading screen, and while waiting for players in Raid Mode online. It’s an 8-bit shooter, where you need to… well, shoot all enemies coming down the screen. There’s various types of enemies, including Rachel.

By defeating several enemies in a row, you make combos, which allows you to get more points. But those points are not just for bragging rights: you can also earn some BP, depending on the amount of points you managed to get.

The second mini-game is called Ghouls ‘n Homunculi, and it’s available in Resident Evil Revelations 2. It’s basically a Resident Evil parody of Ghosts ‘n Goblins, featuring Barry Burton (who ends up nearly naked if he takes too much damage), complete with retro music and all. You can get BP and Gold by getting a high score!

Resident Evil Revelations 1 & 2 (Switch) comes out on November 28th in Europe and North America, and November 30th in Japan.
