Daily Briefs (Oct. 14) – Kirby: Planet Robobot concept-art (bosses) / Disney Magical World 2

Today’s Daily Briefs: some more concept-art for Kirby: Planet Robobot, but also…

  • Disney Magical World 2
  • Rhythm Paradise Megamix
  • The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
  • Yo-kai Watch: The Movie
  • Musashi no Bouken / The Adventures of Musashi Jr

Kirby: Planet Robobot

Following the launch of Kirby: Planet Robobot, Nintendo and HAL Laboratory frequently updated the official website with some concept-art. The last batch was shared back in July, but it looks like there are going to be three more! Be careful though, as it looks like the updates will contain some spoilers… today’s certainly contains some!

For this new batch, we get a look at concept-art for some of the bosses, including the president of the Haltmann Works Company (simply known as Preisdent Haltmann), Mother Computer, and more.

The next update will be about the mechanisation gimmicks in the levels, as well as sound design.

Disney Magical World 2

Here’s a commercial for Disney Magical World 2 (on Nintendo 3DS), now available in Europe and North America:

Rhythm Paradise Megamix

Here’s the latest gameplay clip for Rhythm Paradise Megamix, showcasing the Baseball rhythm mini-game:

Rhythm Paradise Megamix (3DS) comes out on October 21st in Europe.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

A few days ago, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was playable at the EB Games Expo 2016 (though only for selected players). Today, Nintendo Australia uploaded a video, featuring comments from the very fans who got to try out the game:

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Wii U / NX) comes out next year, worldwide.

Yo-kai Watch: The Movie

Tomorrow, the first Yo-kai Watch movie will get a limited theatrical release in the United States. And it looks like Level-5 are planning to use that even for their next music video. If you go to one of the theatres listed below while wearing Yo-kai Watch merchandise or cosplay, you may get to be part of the next Yo-kai Watch music video.

In Japan, Level-5 held similar events. For example, they shot a special commercial for Yo-kai Watch 2, which shows hundred of fans dancing on the game and anime series’ first ending song. Unfortunately, we don’t know what that “English” music video is for, or when it will be revealed…

Musashi no Bouken / The Adventures of Musashi Jr

Musashi no Bouken (The Adventures of Musashi Jr) is a RPG released back in 1990 on the NES. It was never released outside in Japan, but back in 2000, a fan translation was released. However, that translation was of poor quality, so some fans actually went and retranslated the whole thing. If you’re interested, you can click here to check it out and learn more about it!
