Monster Hunter Stories came out last week, and it already got some free additional content (release on Day 1). And today, Capcom released some more free DLC, including the special collaboration items from The Legend of Zelda!

Here’s what was released today:

  • Monster Hair Tournament (Rank: Silver): a special tournament that allows you to get special hairstyle based on monsters for your character;

  • Sub-Quest (★3): allows you to get the Odyssey (Sword & Shield), one of the most popular weapons in the Monster Hunter series

  • Monster Hunter Club Collaboration Part 1. A special competition event, where you have to compete with another player in order to try and find all the pieces of a special egg. When you have all the pieces, you can get a special Kecha Wacha from the egg. Along with the special competition event, you also get an exclusive Rider Card background.

  • The Legend of Zelda Collaboration Part 1 (available until November 13th via the 7-Eleven Hotspots). First, there’s special The Legend of Zelda competition rules: when you play with those, you can get the Master Sword (Sword & Shield)… or rather a ticket, that allows you to take on a special Production Quest. Secondly, there’s a special The Legend of Zelda tournament (rank: Gold): if you win it, you will get Link’s tunic (but only the first time around: you cannot win it more than once). Finally, you also get a The Legend of Zelda background for your Rider Card.

About The Legend of Zelda collaboration content, it looks like it will be distributed via another method (most likely the internet) at a later date. And as announced previously, there’s a second round of collaboration content (with Epona and Majora’s Mask) from December 16th to January 15th.
