Inazuma Eleven Ares

This month, Inazuma Eleven Ares is featured in CoroCoro magazine, and in fact, a first scan has already surfaced. Unfortunately, there’s absolutely nothing new in there, just a new artwork for Asuto Inamori (one of the three protagonists) with a different art style than the one we’ve seen so far. Unfortunately, it’s not clear whether this is something created specifically for the game and/or the magazine.

Here’s the scan:

If and when more details emerge, we will make sure to have a separate post (most likely on Monday, when the magazine is released in Japan)!

Inazuma Eleven Ares (Switch) comes out this Summer in Japan. The anime series will debut in April, and the merchandise will start arriving in stores this Spring.

Thanks Joe Merrick for the scan!

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2

It looks like it’s not just in Japan that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is selling steadily: Bandai-Namco has announced that total sales worldwide have now topped 500 000 units (including digital sales). Unfortunately, no regional breakdown is provided, though we do know that the game has sold over 100 000 units as of Week 1 in Japan.

Speaking of Japan, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is once again suffering from shortages in that country, and unfortunately, new shipments will not arrive before… Early February!
