Battle Chasers: Nightwar

After many months of waiting, the Nintendo Switch version of Battle Chasers: Nightwar finally has a release date! The game will be released next month in Europe and North America: on May 15th, to be precise. The game will cost $39.99 / 39.99€ / £34.99 at retail and on the Nintendo eShop.

Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn

Yesterday, Saber Interactive announced that Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn will be released on June 5th in Europe and North America. The game will cost $19.99 / 19.99€ / £14.99 on the Nintendo eShop, and $39.99 / 39.99€ / £34.99 at retail.

Unfortunately, the Nintendo Switch version does suffer from the infamous “Switch tax”, but that’s not the only reason the retail version is $20 / 20€ / £20 more expensive than the digital version. Indeed, all copies of the game at retail will include “unannounced DLC” for the game. It’s not clear what this DLC consists of, and whether it will be available at launch or not.

One thing we do know is that the offer for NBA Playgrounds owners is still happening: if you bought the game before June 10th 2017, you will get a free digital copy of Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn.

Rocket League

Earlier this week, Psyoni released a major update for Rocket League (you can find the full patch notes on the Updates page). Unfortunately, it looks like various issues came along the new features and improvements:

  • trade cancellations
  • server performance issues
  • game client bugs
  • UI bugs
  • and more…

Right now, the developers are hard at work on a “Mini Update” that will fix those issues. More details about that update, including the release date, will be shared soon.
