Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp – All the Events and Content updates (May 2018)
Since Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is a smartphone game, with micro-transactions as business model, it’s going to get various events and content updates on a regular basis. Just like Fire Emblem Heroes (and to a lesser extent, Miitomo), the goal is to make sure players keep playing… and spending, obviously.

May 1st
- [Animals] 5 new Animals have arrived at your campsite: Maple (Papa bear or yellow tweed), Tom (sushi platter), Shari (flashy-flower sign), Wendy (ice-cream case), Jitters (foosball table). Animals page updated (no end date)
- [Goals] A new set of Timed Goals is now available: “Host the Most”. You can clear those to get Leaf Tickets and Calling Cards (available until May 7th)
May 4th
- [Event] The next event for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is now live! It’s called “Fruit Party with Katie”, and it runs until May 14th. Check out this post for all you need to know! (available until May 14th)
- [Store] During the “Fruit Party with Katie” event, you can buy the Fruit Party Pack from the store (only one per player, available until May 14th):
- Leaf Ticket x70 (60 + 10 bonus!)
- flower food x50
- [Goals] A new set of Timed Goals is now available: “Event Challenge”. Clearing those allow you to get various materials (available until May 14th)
May 5th
- [Log-in Bonus] In order to celebrate Children’s Day (in Japan), all players can get a carp banner as a Special Log-in Bonus (available until June 5th)
May 9th
- [Event] The second half of the “Fruit Party with Katie” event goes live on May 9th. Check out this post for all you need to know! (available until May 14th)
- [Event] To celebrate the start of the second half of the Fruit Party with Katie event, all players can get the following as Special Log-in Bonus: pink-strawberry seeds x20 (available until May 14th)
May 11th
- [Log-in Bonus] As an apology for an issue that impacted the Fruit Party with Katie event, Nintendo is sending the following as Special Log-in Bonus to all players: Leaf Ticket x15 (available until June 11th)
- [Log-in Bonus] The latest set of Log-in Bonuses is now live. It allows you to get the following: sporty essence x1, honey x3, wood x3, cute essence x1, Leaf Ticket x10, Request Card x2, 1 000 Bells, steel x3, sea throw net x3, Leaf Ticket x10 (available until May 21st)
- [Updates] The latest update for the game is Ver. 1.4.2. Click here for the official patch notes!
May 12th
- [Animals] Today, Nintendo teased the arrival of 3 new Animals… can you guess which ones?
May 15th
- [Animals] 3 new Animals have arrived! The following will now start appearing at your campsite: Wolfgang (Ayers Rock), Poppy (sweets minilamp), Naomi (tall display case). Animals page updated! (no end date)
- [Shovelstrike Quarry] For a limited time, you can get modern essence from the Shovelstrike Quarry (only when the icon is displayed on the map, though) (available until May 21st)
- [Goals] A new set of Timed Goals is now available: “Host the Most”. Clear those to get some modern essence! (available until May 21st)
May 17th
- [Cookies] A new Fortune Cookie and related set of Stamp Trade rewards is now available: Stitches’s patch cookie. Fortune Cookies page updated! (available until July 16th)
- [Memories] A new Memory is now available: “Stiches and the Big Bear Climb”. Check out this page for more details (no end date)
May 18th
- [Events] A few days ago, Nintendo started teasing a new, Marine-themed event. It features Bitty, some pearls, and fishing. It will go live tomorrow (on May 19th)!
- [Stamp Trade] A new set of Stamp Trade rewards is now available: “New Year 2018 (reissue)”. Fortune Cookies page updated! (available until June 19th)
May 19th
- [Events] The 2nd Fishing Tourney is now live! Check out this post for all you need to know! (available until May 24th)
May 21st
- [Log-in Bonus] The latest set of Log-in Bonuses is now live. It allows you to get the following: cool essence x1, fertilizer x3, cotton x3, natural essence x1, Leaf Ticket x10, Calling Card x2, 1 000 Bells, preserves x3, river throw net x3, Leaf Ticket x10 (available until May 31st)

- [Log-in Bonus] The trophies earned during the 2nd Fishing Tourney will be available from May 24th to May 27th.
- [Animals] Today, 2 new Animals were teased. Can you guess who they are? They will arrive at your campsite soon!
May 25th
- [Animals] Two new Animals have arrived: Carmen (chocolate fountain), and Zell (Taurus bathtub). Animals page updated (no end date)
- [Goals] One new Timed Goal is now available: “Host the Most”. Clearing it allows you to get modern essence x5 (available until May 30th)
May 27th
- [Event] Today, Nintendo started teasing another event. This one will be about outdoor cinema, it seems! As usual, we don’t quite know when it will go live just yet
May 30th
- [Terrain] Starting today, you can purchase birtch trees to customise your campsite’s terrain. Two variants are available: middle and foreground. You need Leaf Tickets to purchase those (no end date)
May 31st
- [Event] The latest garden event is now live: it’s called Digby’s Artful Retreat, and you can find all there is to know about it on this page! The event is divided in two parts, and the first one is live (available until June 10th)
- [Store] A new special pack is now available from the Store: Artful Retreat Pack (available until June 10th, can only be bought once). It includes the following:
