Curse of the Sea Rats: over 1 hour of footage (4 player co-op)

Curse of the Sea Rats is a “Ratoidvania” developed by Petoons Studio (with PQube on publishing duties), and it’s releasing next month… next week, in fact! For those who really can’t wait until April 6th for the official release, PQube have shared a long video with over 1 hour of footage. This video showcases co-op, with 4 players making their way through Eriu’s forest and taking on a boss.

For those interested in the game, it’s now available for digital pre-order in Europe and North America with a 10% off discount (17.99€ / £15.29 / $17.99 instead of 19.99€ / £16.99 / $19.99, which will be the regular price from launch day).

Curse of the Sea Rats is a ‘ratoidvania’ platform adventure with lovingly crafted, hand-drawn animations. Embark on the epic journey of four prisoners of the British empire, transformed into rats by the notorious pirate witch, Flora Burn. To regain their human bodies, they will have to fight dangerous bosses, uncover the secrets of the vast Irish coast, and ultimately capture the witch who cursed them.
