Code Card Redemption

  • Fixed an issue where the Gyarados ex card sleeves were not granted when redeeming the Gyarados ex Premium Collection code.

Gameplay/Battle

  • Fixed an issue where certain attacks that asked players to choose a number of damage counters were missing text in the Battle Log.
  • Fixed an issue where certain effects that took a long time to resolve could cause the opponent to lose their turn.

Tutorial

  • Fixed a rare issue where the client became unresponsive when entering the first tutorial battle.

Pokémon TCG Live – Ver. 1.12.0

  • Mr. Mime (MEW #122): Fixed an issue where the effect of the Mimic Barrier Ability incorrectly blocked damage from the player’s own Pokémon.
  • Aurora Energy (SSH #186): Fixed an issue where the player was not required to discard a card when attaching Aurora Energy using an effect.
  • Ditto V (SHF #050): Fixed an issue where the restriction on using the V Transformation Ability only once per turn did not transfer to the selected Pokémon.
  • Torracat (SIT #031): Fixed an issue where the Gritty Claws attack effect did not protect against attacks that bypass effects on the opponent’s Pokémon.

Code Card Redemption

  • Fixed an issue where redeeming code cards for Pokémon TCG: Black & White booster packs did not display the correct booster pack name.

General

  • Fixed an issue where occasionally players were unable to use the Home tab to navigate to the Home screen after conceding a match.
  • Fixed an issue on iOS devices where the game experienced slowdowns when loading into the main menu.
  • Fixed an issue where the game became unresponsive when logging in on certain devices running iOS versions older than v14.5.

Matchmaking

  • Fixed an issue where errors in matchmaking were caused by wearing certain pieces of avatar customizations.

Tutorial

  • Fixed an issue on the desktop client where the game became unresponsive when opening the Settings menu right before a tutorial match.

Shop

  • Fixed an issue where the game could become unresponsive when navigating to the avatar customization page after starting up a new client.

  • Medicham V (EVS #185): Fixed an issue where the player going second could not evolve a Pokémon placed in the first turn during the extra turn granted by the Yoga Loop attack.
  • Exp. Share (SVI #174): Fixed an issue where Exp. Share attached to Benched Pokémon did not activate if an Exp. Share on the Active Pokémon was suppressed.

  • Fixed an issue where Knock Outs caused by devolution did not progress Knock Out quests.

Deck Manager Editor

  • Fixed an issue where occasionally the client became unresponsive when editing an imported deck that contained cards not owned by the player.

Gameplay/Battle

  • Fixed an issue where attacks that copy attacks from other cards were still able to occur even when affected by the Confused Special Condition and flipping tails.
  • Fixed an issue where the client became unstable and unresponsive when removing two or more Pokémon Tools from the same Pokémon.
  • Fixed an issue where damage was incorrectly calculated for attacks that depend on Prize cards taken, when the Prize card had an Ability or effect that was used after being taken.
  • Fixed an issue where occasionally the wrong card was shown for Global Status Conditions when multiple effects were active.
  • Fixed an issue where suppression effects that last until the end of the turn did not expire before effects that occur at the end of the turn.
  • Fixed an issue where the client became unresponsive when attaching an Energy card with Primarina’s (LOT #67) Harmonics Ability to a card like Skiploom (EVS #003) and activating its Solar Evolution Ability to select an Evolution card from the deck.

General

  • Fixed an issue on the mobile client where it becomes unresponsive when launching in landscape orientation.
  • Fixed an issue on the desktop client where it became unresponsive when navigating through menus in between the season ladder reward pop-up and the new ladder pop-up.
  • Fixed an issue where gender symbols did not display for Nidoran cards in some instances.

Matchmaking

  • Fixed an issue where certain avatar customizations displayed differently on different devices.

Shop

  • Fixed an issue where the Miraidon ex League Battle Deck shop item contained four copies of Energy Switch (SVI #173) instead of four copies of Boss’s Orders (PAL #172).
  • Fixed an issue where cards in a subset of the expansion did not display when viewing card galleries for certain expansions.

  • Fixed an issue where the Pikachu, Worlds 2022: Navy Light Blue Rain coin no longer appeared in the collection of players who had previously redeemed a code card from the 2022 Pokémon TCG World Championships Decks product.

Gameplay/Battle

  • Fixed an issue where players were not consistently seeing their opponent’s emotes during a match.
  • Fixed an issue where the opponent was not shown cards shuffled from the discard pile into the deck when using certain effects.

  • Fixed an issue on the desktop client where the app could become unresponsive when launched on a system set to certain languages.

Matchmaking

  • Fixed an issue where the app could become unresponsive when a player canceled a friend match before the invite was accepted.

  • Victreebel (MEW #071): Fixed an issue where the effect text for the Slow-Acting Acid attack incorrectly displayed 0 instead of 12 damage counters being placed during the next turn.
  • Toedscruel ex (OBF #022): Fixed an issue where damage by the Colony Rush attack was incorrectly adding evolved Pokémon on the Bench, resulting in higher-than-expected damage.

  • Fixed an issue where certain Tool cards with retaliation effects did not show their effects on the Status Effect screen under the correct conditions.
  • Fixed an issue where the selection arrow occasionally does not show up for cards available to promote to the Active spot.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented the game client from opening any Build & Battle Box product that had been added to a player’s collection via code card redemption on the Pokémon TCG Live website.
  • Fixed a rare issue where no rewards were given when redeeming a code from a Series Two Play! Pokémon Prize Pack.

Deck Manager/Editor

  • Fixed an issue where Credits could not be exchanged to obtain Pokémon V-UNION.
  • Fixed an issue where players could not exchange Credits for more than four parallel foil Basic Energy cards.

Gameplay/Battle

  • Fixed an issue where Cheryl (BST #123) would discard all Energy from an Evolution Pokémon that had already been fully healed by a different effect during the same turn.
  • Fixed an issue that caused some sound effects for Metal-type Pokémon to always be played at maximum volume, including when sound effects were turned off in the Settings menu.

Shop

  • Fixed an issue where hyper rare Basic Energy cards were not part of the possible card pool when opening booster packs.
  • Fixed an issue in the shop where the “no cards to display” error message was displayed in English regardless of the game’s language setting.

  • Serperior VSTAR (SIT #008): The Regal Blender attack no longer prompts the player to move Energy when no targets are available.

Deck Manager/Editor

  • Fixed an issue where searching for certain cards in the Deck Editor screen caused visual issues to occur.
  • Fixed an issue where there was a character limit when searching cards.

Gameplay/Battle

  • Fixed an issue where the Evolution sound effect played for the opponent’s Pokémon even when sound was muted.

  • Gardevoir ex (SVI #086): Fixed an issue where the Psychic Embrace Ability could not be used under certain circumstances.

  • Rayquaza (VIV #138): Fixed an issue where the Amazing Burst attack gained increased damage for duplicate Energy attached.

  • Prompt text for certain card effects that search for a Pokémon’s Evolution chain has been updated to name the specific cards that need to be chosen.
  • Energy Recycle System (CES #128): Text prompt for the card effect choices now displays correctly.
  • Amoonguss (UNM #14): If the Bursting Spores Ability activates multiple times, the player will correctly be prompted for subsequent instances, even if they decline the first prompt.

Deck Manager

  • In Standard play, Expanded decks are no longer erroneously marked as invalid for containing less than 60 cards.
  • Older prints of Standard-legal cards are now included in search results with the Standard filter.
  • The Item-Tool and Tool-Item sorting type have been updated to group cards correctly.
  • The last selected deck now stays selected after returning to the Deck Manager.

  • When an Ability that allows a Pokémon to have multiple Pokémon Tools attached is removed or otherwise deactivated, and the extra Tools must be discarded, any retaliation effects on the discarded Tools will no longer be incorrectly triggered.
  • Devolution Spray Z (UNB #166): Devolving a Pokémon on the Bench no longer shifts its position.
  • Self-inflicted damage is no longer factored into damage done in the post-battle results.
  • Certain Abilities now resolve correctly before being shut off by Ability blockers.
  • Attacks that do damage to or put damage counters on multiple targets now automatically apply the effect if there are no other possible targets. (For example, if an attack does 20 damage to 2 of the opponent’s Benched Pokémon, and the opponent only has 1 or 2 Pokémon on their Bench, the player won’t be asked to choose targets.)
  • Copy attacks no longer fail when copying an attack that prevents itself from being used multiple times in a row.
  • Knocked Out Benched Pokémon display correctly as the full card when displayed on the discard pile.
  • Certain cards that require the selection of a target have been updated to use drag selection.
  • Lilligant (GRI #5): The Petal Dance effect no longer displays a large negative effect indicator.
