CHANGES AND UPDATES

Expanded Preset Slots

Champions Field update

  • To honor and celebrate the 2025 RLCS 3v3 champions Atomic, BeastMode, Daniel, and Satthew — and the 1v1 champion Nwpo — banners for them have been added to the Champions Field Arena.

Skip New Player Tutorial

  • Players who have already completed the introductory tutorial will no longer be forced back into it when playing on another platform for the first time (excluding Xbox).

Nintendo Switch 2 Rendering Enhancements

  • We’ve made a series of visual and performance improvements for Rocket League on Nintendo Switch 2.
    • Simplified Graphics Settings
      • The Performance/Quality toggle has been removed, as Rocket League on Nintendo Switch 2 now uses the best of both settings.
    • Improved Resolution
      • Docked mode: Resolution is now locked at 1080p, 60 FPS in docked mode.
      • Handheld mode: Dynamic resolution now targets 1080p at 60 FPS, but will still reduce resolution as needed to keep gameplay smooth.
    • Visual Quality Upgrades
      • ncreased world detail
      • Higher texture quality in handheld mode, matching docked mode
      • Crisper texture detail with increased anisotropic filtering (reduces jagged lines and blurry edges on surfaces)
      • Improved lighting effects
      • Ambient occlusion
      • Higher-resolution shadows

BUG FIXES

Visual

  • Fixed taillight brightness appearing inconsistent across multiple Car Bodies.
  • The Heatwave Decal now displays correctly on Lamborghini Urus.
  • Fixed an issue where the RLCS ’25 and RLCS ’26 Decals appeared stretched on the hood of the Fennec ZR-F Car Body.
  • Fixed an issue where the Chanoir Octane Decal could override the Car Body’s painted trim.
  • Fixed an issue where the large screens in Champions Field could display distorted visuals.

Audio

  • Fixed an issue where BMW M4 GT3 Evo’s engine audio was louder than intended.
  • Fixed an issue where the Patty Wagon Car Body used the incorrect engine audio during gameplay.
  • Fixed an issue where sound effects for the Hologlass Goal Explosion could cut off when triggered during gameplay.
