LEGO Party! – Ver. 1.4.0
- Release date: March 18th/19th 2026
- Patch notes (highlights):
- Bonus Bricks! Players may choose to add Bonus Bricks to the end of Challenge Zones! Get whisked away to the Bonus Brick Zone and vote on who gets some additional lucrative Golden Bricks at the end of a Challenge Zone!
- New exciting 2v2 versions of Minigames added to Brick Battles & Minigame Rush! Team up in new versions of Graffeeti, Slide Hustle, Feeling Golfy & Saucerlord.
- Bust a move and create more chaos with new dance moves and interactable objects added to the Minigame Results
- 15+ New Minifigures available in the Wardrobe, such as the full suite of Classic Spacemen colours and the Alien Commander.
- A new language appears! Brazilian Portuguese is now available as a text option in LEGO® Party!
- Various bug fixes and performance improvements.

Bonus Bricks
- Players can now opt to add Bonus Bricks to the end of their CZ games – from 1-10 bricks
- Players can vote from a list of random qualifiers, with the winner being awarded the bonus Golden Brick

Added Variety to Minigame Results Screen
- More dance moves added, selected at random
- More items to play with in the scene, from additional banana peels to bowling pins
New Minifigures added
- 15+ new Minifigures to equip and customise in the Wardrobe
- All classic Spacemen colours now available
Brazilian Portuguese added as a supported language for text
- New language can be changed in the settings menu
Minigame Changes/Fixes
- CPU will no longer score points if they pot the ball in Feeling Golfy after the timer runs out
- Tweaks to the power ups in Grafeeti
- Fixed quality on the barrels in Animal Census
- Fixed lighting on Propeller in Dizzy Driftin
- Fixed lighting on platforms on new Donuts & Dragons levels
- Multiple fixes to incorrect VO being played
UI/UX & Menu Fixes
- Fixed Custom Minigame Rush playlists launching the incorrect game
- Added News Section to display update information in game
- Minigames should now shuffle correctly when playing a custom playlist
Challenge Zone Fixes
- Fixed lighting on the Thieves monkeys
- Fixed Host not playing Challenge Zone intros when playing online
- Fixed lighting on the sausage in the UFO garage
- Updated time estimates for Challenge Zone playtimes
- Added some additional commentary to all Challenge Zones

- Removed Rename button when playing local co-op
- Loading screen text no longer clash with rejoin text
- Scrolling the unlocks screen now speed up when button is held
- Choice arrows now clear correctly in game show screens
- Players can now save their game twice in a row, without losing their save
Challenge Zone Fixes
- Challenge Zone junctions now use the same arrow key inputs as other minifigure movements
- Playing the Pirate Challenge Zone for the first time now level the player up after completion
- Slow Roller power up now give the correct number landed on
- Added Golden Brick animation to the chest in Pirate Challenge Zone
- Added Golden Brick decal to voting island
- Added loading notification to map opening sequence
- Removed disconnect icon from trap sign
- Fixed white UI on chance space brick exchange
- Fixed lighting on the Cat Bus in Space Challenge Zone
- Removed Crystal King sword swipe effect remaining on screen in NINJAGO® challenge zone
Misc Fixes
- Players can no longer slap each other out of bounds in Minigame Results
- Local achievements earned now unlock across both player profiles

LEGO Party! – Ver. 1.2.0

- Patch notes:
- New Minifigures – Classic Spaceman (Blue) and free unlock of the Skeleton Suit Fan. More minifigures are coming soon!
- Improvements to rejoining games in the case of player drop outs.
- Difficulty settings now renamed to Normal, Hard, and Expert. New Easy mode coming soon.
- Our CPU players have had a stern talking to. AI balancing applied to the following minigames; Shocking Accuracy, Saucerlord, Fancy Lancy, Very Tall Race, Perfect Pillars, Snailed It, Deep Space Dine, Quick Bricks, and Stop Drop & Side Scroll.
- Ted & Paige (announcers) now can be toggled off separately to other characters. Look, they love to talk—that’s their job—but we hear you!
- Updated save game UI – you can access your saves from the game’s Main Menu.
- Many other minor bug fixes and optimizations across the UI, minigames, and challenge zones.

How to download updates for LEGO Party! on Nintendo Switch?
To download the updates for LEGO Party!, you have three options:
- let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off
If not…
- try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;
OR
- select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.
To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
