Hyrule Warriors Legends coming one day early in Europe, New 3DS XL confirmed

Hyrule Warriors LegendsToday, Nintendo made several announcements for The Legend of Zelda series. First, they uploaded a trailer for the amiibo featured in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD. Click here to check it out, along with the latest details and scans from Famitsu magazine!

Next: Hyrule Warriors Legends. In its Press Release, Nintendo reveal a little tidbit about the Wolf Link amiibo. If you scan it in-game, you will be able to unlock “advanced weapons” for Midna (just like the other amiibo of The Legend of Zelda series with their respective characters).

Hyrule Warriors Legends was originally supposed to come out on March 25th in Europe, but the release was brought forward by one day. The game will now be released on March 24th, due to Good Friday on March 25th. If you live in North America, nothing has changed for you: Hyrule Warriors Legends is still coming out on March 25th in your region.

On the same day, Nintendo will also release the New Nintendo 3DS XL – Hyrule Edition released last year in North America, and today in Japan. It’s a standard New Nintendo 3DS XL, which does not come with any game.

Hyrule Warriors Legends (3DS) comes out on March 24th in Europe, and March 25th in North America.
