Zero Time Dilemma playable only in 2D, pre-loading (Japan), download size, screens

Zero Time DilemmaWith the Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo didn’t try to make 3D mandatory. While the vast majority of games do offer 3D display, many don’t (including several from Nintendo themselves). And (unfortunately), it looks like Zero Time Dilemma is one of those who do not offer stereoscopic 3D display, according to the official gamepage on Nintendo’s website.

Talking of the gamepage, it also features additional details about the game, starting with the download size: 9 565 blocks / 1 195MB… pretty hefty! If you’re planning to get the digital version of the game (something European fans cannot avoid, unless they get the game on another platform), you may have to empty your SD card a bit in order to be able to download it.

And as the title of this post indicates: the game is now available for pre-purchase and pre-loading in Japan. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like North American and European users can do so (yet?).

Here’s additional details about the game:

  • Genre: Extreme Escape Adventure
  • Save data files: up to 3 files, 512KB each
  • Price: 5 638 Yen on the Nintendo eShop (6 264 Yen at retail)

Finally, here’s some screenshots (including some for the bottom screen):

Zero Time Dilemma (3DS) comes out on June 28th in Europe and North America, and June 30th in Japan.
