UK: Wii U and 3DS games now available on Green Man Gaming

At the beginning, going to the Nintendo eShop was the only way to buy digital content for the Nintendo 3DS or the Wii U. But in the past year, new ways have emerged: the official Nintendo website in North America, various online retailers in Japan, and more. For example, a couple of weeks ago, Amazon.com started selling download codes for various games in the United States.

And last week, another online retailer started selling download codes for various Wii U and Nintendo 3DS: Green Man Gaming. Unfortunately, the games are not available for purchase from outside the UK, even though the codes themselves CAN be used on any European Wii U or Nintendo 3DS. If you live in the UK, click here to check out the games available!

Some things to note about Green Man Gaming: the usual discount codes do not work for Nintendo games, but GMG credit can be used to make purchases. Also, more titles will be added to GMG in the upcoming weeks, though we don’t know if titles not published by Nintendo will also be sold in the future.

Finally, here’s a video of Charles Martiner announcing the launch of Nintendo games on Green Man Gaming:
