How to download updates for Treasure Stack for the Nintendo Switch?
To download the updates for Treasure Stack, you have three options:
- let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off
If not…
- try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;
OR
- select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.
To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.

QOL Improvements
- Option to return directly to matchmaking after an online game.
- Tips (multiplayer queue) cycle every 15 seconds for better distribution.
- High scores added to Solo Play.
- Crown element on ranked post game screen now represents highest score in any given match instead of personal best score in ranked mode.
- Interstitional loading screens recolored to black.
- Various visual fixes to UI in post game loading screen.
- Adjusted targeting to be more responsive.
Online Adjustments
- Ranked ladder has been effectively cut in half. Each tier (Peasant, Bronze, Silver, Gold) will now have 5 levels instead of 10.
- Matchmaking logic has been expanded to search within current tier and fallback to any user in queue to decrease wait times. The logic was too strict at launch to support the player base.
- Earn XP towards unlocks in Ranked and Casual online modes!!!
- New background for MP queue screen.
- Win and loss indicators now have context in ranked mode.
Solo Play Features
- Chest drop speed can now be modified for faster start speeds and less early game downtime.
- Demon runes (junk) spawn rate can now be halved or turned off altogether with rewards adjusted accordingly. Players will earn 50% of their total score when junk spawn has been halved and won’t earn any when disabled.
- Personal best score will now be displayed when choosing solo play.
- XP progress towards next chest will now be a persistent UI element displayed on main menu.
Local Party Features
- Earn XP points towards unlocks in Local Party! The player with the highest score at the end of a game has their points going towards unlocks.
