Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE: first trailer for the English version

Yesterday, we learned from Nintendo (via GameInformer) that it was Atlus taking care of the localisation for Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, the Fire Emblem x Shin Megami Tensei crossover project. And today, Nintendo of America finally revealed the very first trailer for the English version of the game, coming out on June 24th in Europe and North America.

The trailer gives us a few glimpse of the story, with evil Mirages coming to the human world in order to steal the performa of performers. Performa is the name of a special special energy, which simply cannot be found in the world where the evil Mirages come from. Both evil and “good” Mirages are based on Fire Emblem characters, such as Chrom, Tharja, Lon’qu, or Abel.

Here’s the “First Beat” trailer for Tokyo Mirage Session:

As you can see in the trailer, the game will not have an English dub: it’s something Nintendo actually announced during the Nintendo Direct, back in March. Of course, there will be subtitles in English (and some other languages in Europe, as usual) to go with the Japanese voices.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE (Wii U) comes out on June 24th in Europe and North America. The game will get a Limited Edition, called Fortissimo Edition, in both regions.
