SteamWorld Heist: “The Outsider” DLC and language update releasing on April 28th

Earlier this month, Image & Form announced that the first DLC for SteamWorld Heist would be called “The Outsider”. Unfortunately, we still don’t know what the DLC is about… but at least, we do know when it will be released: next week, on April 28th to be more precise! Image & Form made the announcement today, on the first day of the PAX East 2016 (where the HD version is playable).

More details about that DLC will be announced early next week, most likely via the weekly Nintendo eShop PR from Nintendo and a post on the official blog. We already know that it will be paid (confirmed as an answer to the announcement tweet, see source below).

In the mean time, here’s a sneak peek:

And since Image & Form confirmed that the DLC would release at the same time as the update, that means that said update will (naturally) be released on April 28th too. No doubt we will get more details about that early next week, along with those for the DLC itself. We already know that the update will include various improvements, some new features, but also localisation for the following languages:

• French
• Italian
• German
• Spanish
• Russian
