Super Mario Bros. 30th Anniversary Festival to be held in September, in Japan

Super Mario Bros. 30th Anniversary Festival

Last week, Nintendo announced that on top of the two concerts (on September 20th and September 21st in Osaka and Tokyo), they would also hold a Super Mario Bros. 30th Anniversary Festival on September 13th, in Shibuya. During this event, various artists will perform music from the Super Mario Bros. series… including Mario itself, for some reason!

Here’s the (partial) list of artists to perform at this Super Mario Bros. 30th Anniversary Festival:

– CLACHIP
– Sakamoto Akase
– Bose (SCHA DARA PARR)
– YMCK
– Electric Comic (MC)
– Mario (Guest)
– and more…

Super Mario Bros 30th Anniversary Performers

Each ticket costs 5 500 Yen (incl. taxes), with a pre-sale via lottery taking place until July 26th (11.59PM JST). Then, the general sale will start on August 1st. You can view the official website for the event by clicking here: you will find various details about the event, such as the location of the venue (duo MUSIC EXCHANGE) and more.

Unfortunately, Nintendo hasn’t announced any special event for the Super Mario Bros. 30th Anniversary celebrations in Europe and/or North America.
