Splatoon: results of the 13th Splatfest (Europe / North America)

Europe / North America

The 13th Splatfest for Europe and North America took place last week-end, and it was the first cross-region festival. The theme was “Who do you prefer? Spongebob or Patrick?”, and the answer was pretty clear… Spongebob! Indeed, 57% of all players ended up picking him up, which isn’t too surprising given he’s the main character. That being said, their team didn’t win that many matches: only 45% of them. In the end, Team Patrick won with 373 points.

Japan

In Japan, the 13th Splatfest ended a couple of hours ago.

This time, the theme was “Which one is your favorite onigiri flavour: Tuna mayonnaise or Matured Red Salmon?”. It looks like Japanese players prefer the latter, as 52% of them voted for it. Unfortunately for them, they didn’t play as well as those who picked Tuna mayonnaise, as they lost 51% of their matches. In the end, Team Tuna mayonnaise won with a total of 354 points… a pretty close match!
