Today, the Squid Research Lab posted another update for the Ranked Splatometer, which is almost filled… It looks like the Ranked Battle modes will be unlocked within the next 24 hours or so!
Sales in Japan
On Friday, Nintendo sent a tweet on its official Twitter account, in order to apologise for the shortages and announce that a new shipment would reach retailers this week. While everything was fine until Saturday, it looks like a lot of stores started experiencing stock issues on Sunday. According to a retailer source, quoting subscriber-only Media Create data, the sellthrough ratio for Splatoon is over 90% (confirming the shortages).
