[E3 2016] Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice – Latest Trailer

E3 2016 only starts next week, but this week has seen many a publisher announcing their games, revealing new trailers and details on already-announced titles, and more. SEGA is one of those, as they revealed the latest trailer for Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice (on Nintendo 3DS) via IGN today.

This trailer is pretty short, but it does show quite a bit of gameplay footage (along with CG cutscenes). We get to see some of the game mechanics, centered around fire and ice, but also the various playable characters:

• Sonic (speed)
• Tails (his tail)
• Knuckles (strength)
• Sticks (her boomerang)
• Amy (her hammer) [new character]

The trailer also showcases some of the boss battles, which take place on two screens (which is something that was already mentioned in the product description on Play-Asia). Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice also features some exploration, and races.

Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice (3DS) comes out on September 27th in North America, September 30th in Europe, and later this year in Japan. It will be playable next week at E3 2016, on Atlus’s booth. The launch edition will include a DVD with episodes of the animated series, but only in North America.
