Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice playable at E3, launch edition to include Sonic Boom DVD
It’s been a little while since we last heard about Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice, but it looks like we’re going to hear a lot about it at E3, in a couple of weeks. Today, SEGA sent a press release in order to announce that the game would be playable at E3 2016. Since the company will not have a booth this year, it’s on Atlus’s booth that journalists will have to go in order to try out the game.
SEGA also revealed that the launch edition of Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice in North America would come with a Sonic Boom DVD. That DVD will include 3 episodes from the TV series, and more precisely:
- “Chili Dog Day Afternoon”
- “It Wasn’t Me, It Was the One-Armed Hedgehog”, featuring Metal Sonic
- “It Takes a Village to Defeat a Hedgehog”, the Season 1 finale, featuring Shadow
Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice will cost $39.99, and of course, that price applies to the launch edition. Unfortunately, we don’t know if Europe will also get the DVD, as no launch edition has been announced for that region just yet. No doubt we’ll get an announcement within the next couple of weeks!
Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice (3DS) comes out on September 27th in North America, and September 30th in Europe.
